At South Central Membrane Association (SCMA), we collect registration fees for conferences, professional workshops, and related events.
Cancellations and Refunds Policy
Cancellation requests received two weeks prior to the start of an event may choose to receive a full credit toward a future event OR a full refund less a $50 processing fee. Credit toward a future event, less a $50 processing fee, will be issued for cancellation requests received after that deadline. In lieu of cancelling, a registrant may elect to have another person from the same organization attend as his or her substitute without incurring a processing fee. The substitute is responsible for the non-member surcharge, if applicable. SCMA reserves the right to make changes to event programs and speakers and/or to cancel events due to circumstances beyond its control. Every effort will be made to contact each enrollee if an event is cancelled. SCMA’s liability for a cancelled event is limited to the refund of the program fee only. By registering for an event, the registrant signifies his or her acceptance of this policy.
