SCMA was pleased to present its 2011 Annual Conference, which was held in Aug. 17-19, 2011, at the Holiday Inn Riverwalk in San Antonio.

During the general sessions, attendees heard informative presentations on topics including membrane basics and troubleshooting, ceramic membranes, case studies, technology updates, economics and financing, and regulatory updates. Attendees also split into two concurrent tracks, with one group attending an operator panel and another hearing presentations.

In addition to a wide variety of educational presentations, attendees visited Bexar Met's United Water-run MF plant in Von Ormy for a tour and training. Many thanks to Joe Thaxton and the plant staff for the opportunity to visit their facility.
